Ghanaian Singer Songwriter Qweku Chinese will release his latest conceptual single “Grinding ” this February. The single follows a relatable storyline, with lyrical themes including coming of age, life challenges, hustling, hope, then reflection. “Grinding” also finds Qweku showcasing his unique vocal and story-telling ability.
"Grinding is a telling of my journey through bad and good times, nothing is easy in life and I think most people can relate to it. It’s full of imagery meant to be inspiring and thought provoking.”

Artist Biography:
Qweku Chinese is a Afrobeat and Hiphop Singer Songwriter based in McCarthy Hills, Accra, Ghana. Qweku grew up in Ghana. Although they didn’t have much, his musical spark was lit by the presence of a turntable and several key records and music genres, namely rap music, Hiphop and Afrobeat.
“I don’t know that I’ve listened to any of those over the past years but you can still hear a bit of all of them on Grinding.”
